Maldives Tourism Seafood Sourcing Report 2023

Throughout 2023, Maldives Resilient Reefs and Blue Marine Foundation conducted an extensive survey to understand how tourism operators in the Maldives source seafood for their operations and how willing operators were to embrace sustainable sourcing practices. The survey was primarily carried out through Microsoft form questionnaires filled out by tourist resort’s senior management and purchasing departments with assistance from resident marine biologists.
